- Event Description
-
Some of the best chefs, brewmasters and vintners in south central Wisconsin will take part in this annual gala fundraiser for Circus World. We're expecting more than 500 guests to enjoy the finest sampling of tasty appetizers, delicious entrees, succulent desserts and refreshing beverages.
What happens at the gala?
You'll mingle with friends while bidding on a huge selection of silent and live auction items, including a unique "cork auction" for a variety of fine wines and premium spirits. The event will culminate with an incredible circus performance featuring the Balloonatic.
A panel of judges will evaluate entries from over 30 restaurants, wineries and breweries and deem five culinary creations and beverages the best of the best. Those lucky participants will walk away with prestigious "Silver Tray" awards, presented to the winner of each food and beverage category.
Support for Circus World
Longtime table sponsors, supporters and chefs join newcomers in building on last year's record-breaking attendence to raise $150,000. Funds this year will be raised through ticket and table sales, auction items and proceeds from the donation of goods and services. Proceeds from this annual event benefit Circus World's museum and performance venue.
Co-chairs of "Circus of Chefs ... The Gala 2010" are Susan and Jonathan Lipp of Full Compass, Madison, and Jenele and Merlin Zitzner of The Baraboo National Bank.
